Cody Jessop
Owner/ Head Instructor
After spending 12 years of competitive high level hockey in the OMHA at multiple levels, Cody made the jump to play at the Junior A & B levels all around Ontario for the next 5 years.
While playing Junior, Cody started coaching part time and developed a passion for helping athletes like himself reach their full potential. In 2024, Cody created the Elite Hockey Development program. Since then he has grown EHD into what we know today, working with hundreds of hockey players from u7- Junior.

Since the age of 5, I was always that player arriving first at the rink & last to leave, staying on the ice after practice, trying to get 1% better each time I hit the ice. Now as a coach, I strive to help hockey players who are dedicated & share the same passion for the game through motivation, hard work, discipline & of course Fun, reach the next level of their hockey careers”
Our Mission
At Elite Hockey Development, our mission is to develop complete hockey players through high-performance training that emphasizes hockey IQ, decision-making, and real in-game situations. We are committed to pushing athletes outside of their comfort zones by encouraging creativity, confidence, and the willingness to try new skills in competitive environments. Through disciplined, individualized coaching, we help players improve both physically and mentally while building strong character, leadership, and accountability on and off the ice. Our goal is to help every athlete reach the next level and develop a lifelong passion for the game of hockey.
